Natasha Matonhodze- New face of Louis Vuitton!!!

Nyasha Matonhodze, who is just 16, has been named the new face of Louis Vuitton as the fashion house revamps its look with youth movement of its autumn/winter line. The average age of its top models is now just 18. Matonhodze, who has only been modeling for two years, is joined byZuzanna Bijoch, 17,Daphne Groeneveld16, Gertrud Hegelund20, Anaïs Pouliot, 19, and Fei Fei Sun, 21.

Matonhodze, who is Zimbabwean but grew up in the UK, won a modeling contest in 2009. Since then, she’s become one of fashion’s hottest new models.

In her debut season she walked for Louise Gray, Clements Ribeiro andJonathan Saunders during London Fashion Week. Spring 2011, while in Paris she walked for Loewe, Emanuel Ungaro, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac andLouis Vuitton.

Of the new campaign, Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs says: 'Steven Meisel and I met and decided we would do this wonderful story of beautiful vintage cars, little dogs and fresh-faced young women. 

'It's a very classic scenario, and of course it suggests travel, but I think we gave it a fresh, modern and sometimes a little bit naughty, tongue-in-cheek spin.'

'Who wouldn't want to be this gorgeous young woman in the back seat of this beautiful car?' Marc Jacobs says of the campaign. 

'And wherever she's going, she's dressed in style this season by Louis Vuitton.'

I say massive congratulations to 16 year old Nyasha and I wish her the best in her modelling career.

Flashback!- 90s Fashion

Right now, I am very obsessed with 90s fashion, and I was just browsing through the net for some inspiration. These are a few things i liked and some magazine covers. I really just want to try on all the clothes they wore back then, it's like a breath of fresh air compared to the 'crap' that is being worn on the streets today. Bring back the 90s!!! :D

My conclusion is that nothing we wear now is not a re-invention of what we've worn in the past!
